Delbert Lee Halterman, Sr.

Delbert Lee Halterman, Sr. passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 88.

Delbert was born on February 19, 1936, the son of William Halterman and Edna May Decker Halterman.  He was a master gardener and loved antique cars and restoring them.  He was a veteran of the Airforce.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wives Jewel Ferrell Halterman and Earline Halterman, his brothers Bob and Jerry Halterman and step-son Jimmy Guimbellot.

He is survived by his sons William Halterman, Randy Lee Halterman, Delbert Lee Halterman, Jr., step-son Allen Guimbellot, step-daughters Sandra Fell, Karen Pullen, Jeanie Derryberry and Beth Guimbellot, grandchildren Vernon Halterman, Billy Halterman, Dusty Halterman, Delbert Halterman, Danny Halterman and Jamie Chaloux and great-grandchildren Tessa Halterman, Gracie Halterman, Levi Halterman and Colton Halterman.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15, 2024, at Glenwood Funeral Home.  Rev. Larry Macomber will officiate the service.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Vernon Halterman, Robert Ward, Bill Benis, Merle Kirkley, Robert Hynum and Shane Bailey.
