Diana Jean Humphries

Diana Jean Humphries, age 66 of Vicksburg, Mississippi, was called home on April 5, 2024. Born to Walter Jerry Volenec and Phyllis Jean Volenec on September 14, 1957, in Omaha, Nebraska, Diana was a beacon of love and compassion, cherished by all who knew her.

A graduate of Bryan High School in Omaha, Diana devoted her life to her family and the welfare of animals, nurturing every life she touched with her generosity and kindness.

She leaves behind her beloved son, William Patrick Benis, and her dear aunt, Leanna Carrick. Diana reunites in eternal rest with her treasured husband, Eddie Dean Humphries; her father, Walter Jerry Volenec; her mother, Phyllis Jean Volenec; and her brother, Walter Jerry Volenec Jr.

The family invites you to join them in a solemn farewell to Diana at Glenwood Funeral Home, situated on Hwy 80, Vicksburg, Mississippi. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, April 12th, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, with the funeral service commencing promptly at 12:00 PM.

Pallbearers will be William Patrick Benis, Jerry Wayne Schuman, Jimmy Vinzant, Robbie Humphries, Robert Schuman and Alex Olivio.
