Edith Davidson Obituary

Edith Smithhart Davidson, of Vicksburg, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the age of 88 at River Region Medical Center. She was born in Indianola, MS to the late Ike and Delma McKee Smithhart on March 4, 1936.

Edith loved and was adored by her family. She enjoyed camping, boating, and traveling. She is loved most by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, Glenn "Jack" Davison, Sr.; sisters, Ruth Smithhart, Karen Crawford, and Wilma Milton; and her brother, Bennett Smithhart.

She is survived by her daughters, Melanie Dahl (Wayne) and Beth Jones (Eric Wooley); son, Glenn Davidson, Jr. (Khin); sister, Sharon Evans; brother, Bill Smithhart (Annelle); grandchildren, Glenn Davidson, III, Amber Davidson, Mark Steven Hilderbrand, David Hilderbrand, Sharon Mitchell, Kelsey Mitchell; and five great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held with Pastor Josh Gee presiding.
