John Edward Hluska, Jr.

John Edward Hluska, Jr. passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 70. He was born on February 16, 1954, the son of John Edward Hluska, Sr. and Mary Kacmar Hluska.  He was employed at International Paper for many years.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.

John was preceded in death by his parents and his dogs Sebastian, Loki, Kegan and Rowan.

He is survived by his wife Denise Rogers Hluska, sons Kristopher Hluska, Kody Armstrong (Kelsey) and Kevin Armstrong, daughter Kimberly Stokes, sisters Mary Carr (John), Jane Schlechtweg (Ron) and Rosemary Hluska, sister-in-law, Roxanne Rogers, grandchildren Reilly Armstrong, Cameron Camerillo (Fernando), Mia Armstrong, Leah Armstrong, Anthony Armstrong, Zachary Armstrong and Mason Armstrong, great-grandchild Maya Camerillo, nieces Rachel Baker (Ryan), Jill Schlechtweg and Kimberly Carr, nephew Michael Schlechtweg and his beloved dogs Callie and Quinn.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Glenwood Funeral Home.  The service will be officiated by Steve Elwart.  Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
