Lloyd Thomas "Shorty" Erwin

Lloyd T. "Shorty" Erwin passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at home after a lengthy illness. 

Shorty was raised in Tallulah and loved his community. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Bear Lake Fire Dept. He was retired from the State of Louisiana and Southern Fidelity Crop Insurance.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Fanell Erwin of Tallulah and son Keith Erwin.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Joan Erwin, one daughter Karen Landrem (Ricky) of Tallulah, one sister Carol Roberson of Vicksburg, Ms,  four grandsons - Cason Landrem (Amanda) and children of Tyler, TX, Cody Landrem and son of Tallulah, Toney Erwin (Paige) of Brookhaven, MS,  Matt Erwin (Hayli) and children of Denham Springs, LA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Mr. Shorty Erwin will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Crothers Glenwood Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow the visitation at Silver Cross Cemetery beginning at 2:00 PM with Bro. Jay Parker officiating.
