Mildred Maydee Stauts

Mildred Maydee Stauts passed away on March 18, 2024, at the age of 83.

Mildred was born on August 29, 1940, to James Walter and Willie C. Gibson.  She was raised in Ocean Springs, MS.  She married Bobby G. Stauts on November 22, 1962.  She was very dedicated to her family and was involved with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her mother Willie C. Gibson-Trentacosta, her father James Gibson, her brothers James B. Gibson, Charles Lee Gibson and Raymond Lundy, her daughter Monica Jean Huffmaster and son Gregory Wayne Stauts. 

She is survived by her husband Bobby G. Stauts, children Michael R. Stauts (Nettie), Robert A. Stauts (Susie), Donna L. Stauts, David L. Stauts, sister, Barbara Huffmaster (Marlon); brother, George Gibson (Ann); sister-in-law, Sherry Gibson; 16 grandkids and 21 great-grandkids.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on March 23, 2024, at Glenwood Funeral Home.  The service will be officiated by Bro. Billy Brumfield.  Visitation will from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.  

Pallbearers will be grandsons Kaden Stauts, John David Stauts, Hayden Stauts, Bobby Wayne Stauts, Chris Stauts, Steven Griffith, Derek Huffmaster, Philip Huffmaster and Eric Huffmaster. Honorary pallbearers will be her Sunday School class, Luke Stauts, Richard Woods, Bubba Woods, Mitchel Stauts and Will Stauts.
