Sarah Nell Barnes - 79
Sarah was born on October 23, 1944, in New Orleans, LA to parents William Harold Easterling and Sarah Crystal Easterling.
Sarah passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024, at a Jackson area Medical Facility following a lengthy illness. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her daughter Amanda Jane McCool and son L. Allen Barnes.
Sarah is survived by granddaughters, Daphne Paige Keathley (Justin) and Alyssa Paige Barnes; daughter-in-law, Annette Louis; along with sister, Betty Vernamonti (Leonard). Also left to cherish the memory of their Nana are her great-grandchildren who she adored so much, Amanda Paige Keathley and Stanley Martin Ray Keathley.
Following her retirement, Sarah enjoyed gardening, crafting, thrift and bargain shopping, along with doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 9-11 AM at Glenwood Funeral Home.
Per Sarah's request all other services will be private.
