Barbara A. White

Barbara A. White died Sunday, March 31, 2019, at the Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 83.
A native of Escanaba, Mich., she had been making her home in Vicksburg for the past 46 years. She was a member of the Vicksburg Elk's Lodge, BPO 95, the Vicksburg Loyal Order of Moose Lodge and the Ladies Auxillary of the American Legion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Irene Gardner Myers Collins.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert White of Vicksburg; her daughters, Susan Taylor of Vicksburg, Lori Ohlinger of Lookout, West VA and Lisa (Tony) Diaz of Staunton, VA; her sons, Steve (Leona) White of Brookhaven and Gerry (Ginger) White of Vicksburg; her sister, Lori Demars of Escanaba, Mich.; her brothers, Chuck Collins of Escanaba, Mich. and Tom Collins of New Berlin, Wisc.; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019, at 10:00 AM at the Elevate Church, 3527 Manor Dr., with Pastor Robert Andrews officiating.
