Carson Reid Kurtz

Carson Reid Kurtz passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019. He was 15.

Carson loved to play soccer, ride four wheelers, and go to the country club. He attended St. Aloysius, and also played soccer there.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Renae Delaughter, maternal great-grandmother Rita Lusby, and maternal great-great-grandmother Everlea Miles.

He is also preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Donald Kurtz.

Carson is survived by his mother, Jamey Lusby Kurtz, his father, Shawn Kurtz, his sister Lee Catherine Kurtz, his brother, Shawn Christopher Kurtz, Jr., nephew Kinnison Ross, his maternal grandparents, James Bo Lusby and Terri, his maternal great-grandfather, Albert Lusby, maternal grandparents Theresa Lusby and Jeff Merrit, and his paternal grandparents Nancy and Richard Freeman.

Active pallbearers will include Chris Whittington, Christopher Kurtz, Butch Kurtz, Todd Kurtz, Greg Kurtz, Jimbo Lusby, Shane Lewis, and Bo Lusby, Aaron Greer, and Billy Joe Heggins.

Honorary pallbearers will include Jackson Fortenberry, Thompson Fortenberry, Jeff Merrit, Moses Vidal, Brody Moody, Davis Black, Trace Dailey, Hartley Sullivan, Cooper Madison, Bo Broome, Reece Herring, Warren Central Soccer Team, and St. Aloysius Soccer Team.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Glenwood Funeral Home from 5-8 pm. A funeral service will follow on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 11 am. Burial will follow immediately after the funeral service at Greenlawn Gardens.
