Donald Robinson

Donald Robinson passed away, October 29, 2019. He was 74 years old.

Donald was born March 13, 1945 in Kannapolis, North Carolina and raised in the Robinson community. He moved to Vicksburg in the late 1960's. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Sue Robinson, son Brian Robinson, father Nathan Robinson and mother Odessa Robinson, 2 brothers Denise and David, 2 nephews David and Michael, and 2 nieces Trissie and Debbie. Donald had a love for music and a passion for watching his son Greg coach football. He will be Missed and loved by many.

Survivors are Son Greg Robinson (Ginger), daughter Christie Robinson, sisters Delores Tharpe and DeEtte Copes (Lonnie), grandchildren Kalyn Robinson, Jordan Robinson, Hartley Robinson, Savannah Kennedy, and Jason Kennedy.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Glenwood Funeral Home from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. with services at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel. Rev. Tony Winkler will be officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Greg Robinson, Michael Lee, Kevin Watson, Tommy Baker, Sean Trichell, and Dane Lovell. Honorary pallbearers will be Caroline Smith, Adrian Sanders, Charles Tharpe, Hank Tharpe, Charles Warren Robinson, and Debby Runnells.

Memorials can be made to Beautiful Deliverance Ministries. The family would like to thank the staff of Promise Hospital, the CVR unit and Dr. Daniel Edney.
