Ellen Roper Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen Hart Roper, age 99, will be Monday, July 1, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Tallulah. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer R. Roper, grandsons, Bill Powell, Woody Roper, and Johnny Norred, six brothers, and three sisters.
Survivors include her son, Pete Roper (Dianne), daughters, Ann Powell (Richard) and Wylma Norred, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
