Gary Lane McGuffee

Gary Lane McGuffee died on Friday, October 26, 2018. He was 56.

Gary was born in Jackson, MS on August 9, 1962. He lived in Chicago, IL and Atlanta, GA for a number of years, but lived in Utica, MS most of his life.

He was a carpenter by trade for many years, and a member of Utica Christian Church.

Gary is preceded in death by his father Edward Lane McGuffee and his one brother Barry Allen McGuffee.

He is survived by his significant other, Amanda Boyd, his mother Barbara Ann McGuffee, and his two sisters Theresa M. Stevens and Melissa Ann Hinton.

Funeral services will be held at Utica Christian Church, in Utica, MS, on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:00am. Visitation will begin at 10:00am at the church, until the hour of service.  Burial will follow at Utica Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Rev. Brad Hartzog.

Active Pallbearers will be Bobby Templeton, Brad Templeton, Russ McGuffee, James Beal, Hubbard Partridge, Chuck Vance, Jack Ross, Jr., and Chris Hinton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerimiah Boyd and Noah Stevens.
