Joyce Ann Fields

Joyce Ann Fields passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at her home at the age of 78.

Joyce was born in Taylorsville, MS on September 20, 1941, the daughter of Clarence F. Davis and Ruby Nell Stringer Davis. She married in 1960 then moved Vicksburg, MS in 1967 when her husband became employed at International Paper. She was a nurse for 30 years. She was a founding member of Triumph Church which was started in her home in 1990.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother J. C. Davis.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Norman Wayne Fields; sons, Mike Fields (Zena) and Kenny Fields (Patty); daughter, Pam Walker (Larry); brothers, Rev. Larry Davis (Debbie) and Paul Davis (Ella); sisters, Erma Stennet, Ruth Stringer and Marell Sanford (Hulon); grandchildren, Anthony Fields, Chelsea Whitfield, Melia Fields, Derrick Fields, Sara Grace Jobe and Seth Jobe; great-grandchildren, Raylon Whitfield, George Fields, Sophia Fields, Brock Fields and Brindle Fields.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Triumph Church, 136 Honeysuckle Lane, Vicksburg, MS. The service will be officiated by Bishop Randy Clark, Pastor Mike Fields, Rev. Larry Davis, Elder Elmer Dorrell and Pastor Anthony Fields. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Fields, Derrick Fields, Seth Jobe, Jay Ghrigsby, Scott Clanton, Dailon Huskey, Jordan Whitfield and Landon Fields. Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Clanton, Leland Fields, Paul Fields, Jr., Jordan Davis, Wayne Stringer, Don Stringer, Milton Stennet, Tim Sanford, Ronnie Davis, Keith Davis and Melvin Davis.
