Penny Melissa Sorrels

Penny Melissa Phelps Sorrels passed away Monday, May 20, 2019. She was 53 years old.

Mrs. Sorrels was a native of Vicksburg, MS and had been living in Pattison and Brookhaven, MS most of her life. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved being a grandmother. She was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Randy Eugene Sorrels; son Travis Sorrels (Kayla); daughter Cody Sorrels (Ben Norwood); sisters Deborrah Easom (Bobby), and Chandra Anderson (Wayne); mother Alice Sorrels; and grandson Raylon Tucker Sorells.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Glenwood Funeral Home in Port Gibson, MS from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. with services beginning at 12:00 P.M. in the chapel. Rev. Michael Jabour will be officiating. Burial will follow at Sarepta Cemetery in Claiborne County, MS.

Pallbearers will be Emmett Roan, Travis Keene, Cody Teekel, Casey Sorrels, Kyle Sorrels, and Taylor Jones.
