Robert Gordon Craft

Robert Gordon Craft, age 87, a resident of Flora, Mississippi, died at home on June 10, 2019, surrounded by his family. A graveside funeral service will be held at Pinelog Cemetery in Brookland, Arkansas.

He was born in Lake City, Arkansas, on March 26, 1932, and grew up with four siblings, Doris Good, Cloyis Craft, and twins, Marce and Marceal Craft. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Thelma Craft, brother, Cloyis Craft, and twins, Marce and Marceal Craft.

He was drafted into the army at age 21, where he served in Fort Knox, Kentucky. Most of his life was dedicated to farming in Tallulah, Louisiana, where he retired in 1994. After retirement, he still drove a tractor for his sons until the age of 82, when his health prevented it.

He loved people of all walks of life and never met a stranger. Most of all, he was a godly man, very strong in his christian faith, and loved sharing that with others.

Robert is survived by his wife, Bonnie, of 67 years. They had two sons, Terry Craft and wife, Carolyn, and Bruce Craft and wife, Tina. Grandchildren are Patrick Craft (Lori), Amy Sullivan, Jason Craft (Leigh), and Robert Craft (Casey). Great grandchildren are Parker Sullivan, Courtney Craft, Jackson Star, Harley Young, and Cali Young.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Craft, Jason Craft, Robert Craft, Parker Sullivan, Rick Crigler, Eric Crigler, Greg Garner and Tommy Craft.
