Tommy Ables

Tommy Ables of Vicksburg, MS passed away Friday, December 14, 2018. He was 86 years old.

Mr. Ables was born in Inverness, MS and had lived in Vicksburg, MS most of his life. He was a retired self-employed painting contractor. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Ables is survived by his wife Nadine Ables; son Michael Ables(Patricia); daughters Carolyn Kinstley(Bill) and Susan Hoover(Michael); sister Betty Ann Ettinger(Howard); 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Charlie Harris officiating. Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Glenwood Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Mark Ettinger, Daniel Ettinger, Jonathan Ettinger, Jason Ables, Christopher Ables, Jerrod Ettinger, and Trey Ettinger. Honorary pallbearers will be Howard Ettinger, George Osborn, Rusty Clay, Dr. Paul Pierce, IV, Dr. Jeffrey Morris.

The family would like to Give special thanks to his care givers Pam Gillis, Zedy Osborn, Angela McCain, and Cecile Hesselberg.
