Tyann Peterson Hengst, 61, of Taylor, AR, formerly of Cary, MS, died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at her residence in Taylor.
Tyann was a member of the Episcopal Church in Cary, MS and she worked as a teller at the Bank of Anguilla in Mississippi. She had recently moved to Taylor and had made numerous friends. She enjoyed making crafts, working in her yard and playing with her dog Mr. Bean. What she enjoyed most in her life was spoiling her great nephew and her two great nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband Randy Hengst and mother Norma (Plumley) Strader. She is survived by her son Randolph Hengst of Vicksburg, MS, two sisters Amanda Willhoite and husband Ken of Taylor, AR, Cherrie Peterson of Conway, AR, niece Sarah Collier and husband Kevin of Bussey, AR and their children Katherine, Matthew, and Lydia.
A Special Time of Remembrance will be held Thursday, October 18 at 6:00 p.m. at Tyann’s residence for all her family and friends to fellowship and honor her memory.
A graveside service will be Saturday, October 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cary Cemetery in Cary, MS under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork, MS.
Cremation services were provided by Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia, AR.
