William Rufus Hill

William Rufus Hill, II passed away Friday, November 8, 2019. He was 90 years old. 

William was a native of Pickens County, AL. He was a graduate of Mississippi State University School of Engineering. He retired from U.S. Army Corp of Engineers where he attained the rank of Chief Engineering Divisions, retiring after 30 years of service. He was a member of Blue Hill United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by daughter Deborah Joyce Hill in 1973.

Funeral service will be held at Glenwood funeral home in Port Gibson, Mississippi at 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 11, 2019. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M until the time of service.

Rev. Doug Hooks will be officiating. Burial will be followed at a later date at Greenlawn Gardens cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews and grandsons.
