Albert Benjamin Trim, Jr.

Albert Benjamin Trim, Jr. passed away on October 3, 2022, at Merit Health River Region.  He was 83.

Albert was born on January 26, 1939, the son of Albert Benjamin Trim, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Mercer Trim.  He served in the U. S. Army for 22 years and worked for LeTourneau for 15 years.  He was a single father of 3 girls.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Barbara Hayden Trim, brothers Henry Trim and Percy Trim, sisters Sallie Mae Porterpan, Lillie Thomas, Cleo Dent and Ruth Cook.  

He is survived by his daughters Terri Trim (Frank May), Pamela Trim Chambliss and Michelle Ivey (Tim), grandchildren, Monica McDonald, Andrew Chambliss, Samantha Carroll, Hunter Ivey and Fischer Ivey, great-grandchildren Cullen Chambliss and Delanie Chambliss, and nieces Louise Parsons and Dorothy Landrum.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg, MS.  Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of the service.  Burial will follow in Wintergreen Cemetery in Port Gibson, MS. 

Pallbearers will be Andrew Chambliss, Hunter Ivey, Fischer Ivey, T Washington. Honorary pallbearers will be Howard Way and Buddy Cook.
