Angela Lenett Wigley Rogers, 57, passed away on October 6, 2023, at Merit Health River Region, following a sudden illness. She was born on August 13, 1966, in Vicksburg, MS. She was the daughter of George Matthew Wigley and Leona Mae Hedrick Wigley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Carl (Billy) Hedrick and George Michael (Mike) Wigley, and her stepson, Hunter Rogers. She graduated from Warren Central High School.
She is survived by her husband, Chad Rogers, stepson Corbin Rogers, sisters Helen Hedrick Goss (Richard) and Opal Wigley Ainsworth, and brothers Roger Hedrick and Dennis Wigley. She has two granddaughters, Payzli Rogers and Aubree Rogers. She has several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews: Stephanie Wade, Pamela Burleson, George Hedrick, Billy Hedrick, Melissa Hedrick Sanders, Ashley Alatorre, Kristen Kendrick, Megan Wade, Colby Burleson, and Ryan Burleson.
She worked at many places over the years, including Super Junior on Fisher Ferry Rd, the Check Unit at the District Attorney's Office, and Grand Gulf Nuclear Station. She was a valued member of the Morning Gardeners Garden Club and loved raising flowers, butterflies, and hummingbirds. She was always busy and full of life and fun. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 9, 2023, at Glenwood Funeral Home. Rev. Billy Brumfield will officiate the service. Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be George Hedrick, David McWilliams, Eddie Aust, Grady Turner and Michael Park.
