Ashley Simmie "Wishbone" Halterman, Sr.

Ashley Simmie “Wishbone” Halterman, Sr., age 64, of Tallulah, Louisiana, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020, at University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born July 5, 1956, in Delhi, Louisiana, to Clyde and Evelyn Halterman.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at 10:00 A.M. at Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah, Louisiana. The funeral will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. Jason Lupo officiating. Burial will be at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.

Ashley is preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Clyde Halterman, and brother, Wilton Halterman.

Ashley is survived by his wife, Linda Halterman; daughters, Suzanne Halterman and Alicia Turner (Josh); and son, Ashley Halterman, Jr. (Mary); grandchildren, Colby Halterman, Kennedy Turner, and Mallory Halterman; siblings, JB Halterman, Archie Halterman, Patricia Wallace, and Margaret Halterman; nieces and nephews, Michelle, Jerry Lane, Chasity, Ernie, Steven, Carla, and Jessica.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Mahoney, Johnny Piazza, Steven Halterman, Mingo Lopez, Ernie Wallace, and Steve Warner.
