Billie Sue Carpenter Ulery

Billie Sue Ulery, a lifelong resident of Vicksburg, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, surrounded by family. She was 90 years old. Visitation will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m., with funeral service to follow in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Tim Brown. Interment will take place immediately following the service at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Billie Sue is preceded in death by her father, Luke Carpenter, and son, Luke Ulery. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Harry Ulery; daughters, Amy Ulery Brown (Ronnie) and Susan Ulery Griggs (Chris); grandchildren, Joshua and Parker Brown, Evan (Devan) and Ben Ulery, and Gracie Griggs; and great-granddaughter, Allyson Jane Ulery.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Brown, Joshua Brown, Parker Brown, Chris Griggs, Evan Ulery, and Benjamin Ulery. Honorary pallbearer will be Gracie Griggs.

Billie Sue will be lovingly remembered as a devoted wife, a caring and steadfast mother, proud grandmother, and a dear friend to so many. Her kindness, laughter, and unwavering love touched every life she encountered. Her love truly knew no bounds, and her gentle spirit will continue to inspire those she left behind. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
