Bobby Glen Mitchell

Bobby Glen Mitchell passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026. He was 85 years old. He was born in Sicily, Louisiana on September 24, 1940. He enjoyed going to different casinos and hunting. After he retired, he stayed to himself.

He is preceded by his parents, Thomas and Doris Mitchell; wife, Joyce Mitchell; son, Bobby Joe Mitchell; brothers, Dean Mitchell, James “Buster” Wesley and Roy Lynn Mitchell; sisters, Mary Lou Bryant, Jean Vines, Dianne Mitchell Chun and Wanda Faye Ward. 

He is survived by his sons, Thomas Wayne Mitchell (Brenda) and Roy Glen Mitchell; brother, Raymond Mitchell; sister, Ferndale Beard. 

Pallbearers will be Ray Bryant, Kevin Bryant, Jimmy Chanell, Bobby Earl Sikes, Calvin Jackson and Robert Sikes.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Wintergreen Cemetery.
