Bradis Hynum

Bradis L. Hynum, age 84, of Tallulah, Louisiana, passed away on January 2, 2026, at Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Tallulah, Louisiana. She was born in Epps, Louisiana on October 15, 1941, to J.D. and Myrtle Ann Varner Johnson.

Bradis worked as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved flower gardening, dancing, and her annual trip to Branson with her sisters before they passed.

Bradis is preceded in death by her parents J.D. and Myrtle Ann Varner Johnson; brother, Burney Dean Johnson; sister, Patricia Ann Huffman; sister, Susan Ann Quimby; granddaughter, Shea Lorine Frazier and husband, Jimmy Dean Hynum.

Bradis will be greatly missed by her sons, Alfred (Darlene) and Michael Kavin Savage; grandchildren, Kati Rachel (Kyle), Alfred Cole (Nikki), Margaret Louise, Kira Ann, and Kailee Rose; and 6 great grandchildren.

Memorial services for Bradis will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the First Presbyterian Church in Delhi, Louisiana, with Pastor Chris Wright officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.
