Bradley Truett Lutz

Bradley Truett Lutz of Vicksburg, MS passed peacefully on December 24, 2025, at the age or 96.

Born in Pattison, MS on January 17, 1929, to Roy and Anna Lutz, he is survived by his wife, Sharon Roberts Lutz, Bradley DeWitt Lutz (Rebecca), Diane Adelle Lutz, Brian Roberts, and David Roberts (Beth).  He was preceded in death by his wife Iris Golding Lutz, daughter Donna Marie Butler (Alan) and David Allen Lutz (Diane).  He was a wonderful grandfather and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed by all.  

After serving in the US Army for 22 years, Bradley retired with the rank of Lt. Colonel, and he and his family moved to Florida.  There he obtained his PhD and taught for many years at Hillsborough Community College before retiring again.  After moving to Vicksburg, he enjoyed his view overlooking the Mississippi River and his time at the family farm in Pattison.

A memorial service will be held in Pattison, MS at a future time.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Enhabit Hospice of Vicksburg, MS for the wonderful care they provided to Bradley and the family these past few months or to Crawford Street United Methodist Church.
