Brenda Barnette

Brenda Barnette passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020. She was 66 years old. 

Brenda loved to cook, crocheting and loved to watch The Walking Dead. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of Satartia, MS. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Ruby Ward, her grandson, Joshua Miles, and numerous aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her daughter, Christina Barnette, her three sons; Frank Barnette(Sarah), Christopher(Alisa) and James Barnette(Candy), her brother, Travis Ward, her four sisters; Mary Jo McDaniel(Barber), Debbie McDaniel(J.R.), Elaine Goodson(Ricky), and Marie Young, her eleven grandchildren; Christopher Smith, Brenda Jean Marie Barnette, Jonothan Barnette, Keri Barnette, Robert Barnette, Emily Barnette, Alyssa Barnette, Kaydence Horton, Kenna Barnette, Trevor Dickerson, and Katie Dickerson, and her four great-grandchildren; Joshua Allen Smith, Sebastian Barnette, Ariah Barnette, and Landon Barnette.

A visitation will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 10:00am with a funeral service immediately following at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. 

Active Pallbearers will include; Ricky Geter, Robby Goodson, Jason McDaniel, Roger McDaniel, Jason Tyler McDaniel, Christopher Smith and Peyton Creech. Honorary Pallbearers will be St. Joseph Hospice, Amedysis Home Health, Dr. Scurria, and nurse Ms. Terry, Dr. Oluwatade, and Dr. Sligh, and nurse Ms. Dana. 

Officiating the service will be Tim Goodson.
