Brian James Lott, age 49, of Valley Park, MS, passed away in the arms of his beloved wife, Brooke Lott, on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Brooke; his son, Kade; and his daughters, Kinley and Briley. He is also survived by his brother, Thomas (Catherine); his mother, Tamela McCraney (Craig); his father- and mother-in-law, Charles and Sandra Kerr; his aunt, Pam Garner (Kevin); his sister Amy; and his nieces and nephew.
Brian was born on December 29, 1975, in Vicksburg, MS. He was born and raised by his loving Grandparents, James and Madge Gillis. Brian was a member of Saint Paul’s Catholic Church and attended Valley Park Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband and father who had a love for all things outdoors with his children, including hunting, farming, fast cars, and collecting guns. Brian was always willing to lend a helping hand and was often found in his shop working on a project for someone else. He never met a stranger and loved everyone he met. Brian’s greatest accomplishment in life was his wife, Brooke, and his kids, who were his pride and joy. Brian worked as a hydrographic surveyor for DIMCO. Inc. for the past 27 years. Brian would like everyone to remember “Remember every day is a good day, even if it’s a pain in the butt.”
A service will be held on Saturday, May 10, at 10 a.m. at Valley Park Baptist Church, with visitation beginning at 9 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Kade Lott, Thomas Lott, John David Liggett, Chris McDonald, Joel Dimmette, Jay Jabour, John Jabour, and Allen Lyons.
