Carla Louise Weeks

Carla Louise Weeks passed away on Sunday, November 08, 2020 at her home. She was 58. 

Carla was born in Vicksburg, MS  on October 8, 1962, the daughter of Carlos and Rubye Brassfield Blackmon.  Everyone who knew Carla knew she was a very fun loving person.  She believed in family, friends, peace love and tie die.  Carla said she wanted all her family, lifetime co-workers and customers to know how much she loved them.  

Carla is preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Rubye Blackmon, her sister, Anne Bolls, and her niece, Angela Bolls.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Weeks; her two brothers, Bobby Blackmon and Bill Blackmon (Betty); nieces, Elizabeth Bolls-Kumar (Rajesh), Amber Whitley (Matt), and Sonya Loveless; nephews, George Bolls (Eileen), James Blackmon, Bobby Blackmon (Melissa), Joshua Birdno and Anthony Birdno;  great nieces and nephews; Sheila, Jennifer, Jessica, Hagan, Tyler, Abby, Austin, Noah, Kenya, John, Jacob, and Lawson and her special friends, Katie Wimberley, and Sandra Duckworth. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home followed by the service at 2:00 p.m.  Brother Dwight Sibley will officiate the service.  Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Nickalus Romano, Joshua Birdno, Matt Whitley, Steve Loposser and Jonathan Rundles. Honorary pallbearers are Tommye Romano and Stephanie Weeks.
