Carlis Curtis Obituary
Carlis Wesley Curtis passed away at St. Dominic Hospital on May 27, 2021. He was 85 years old.
Carlis was born in Utica, Mississippi to his parents, Ethel and Minnie Mae Curtis on September 28, 1935. He obtained his Associates Degree and worked as a lineman. He then progressed to management and second level for BellSouth before retiring. He was retired for 33 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Young Curtis; his son, Scott Allen Curtis; daughters, Lacey Nunnally and Emily Mathes; grandchildren, Morgan Carr, Brayden Curtis, Abbey Hibbert, and Jacob Nunnally; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Utica United Methodist Church, with Reverend Paul McDonald officiating. Interment will follow at Utica Cemetery.
