Carolyn Sue Caldwell

Carolyn Sue Ferguson Caldwell passed away on April 27, 2026, at the age of 82.

Carolyn was born on August 11, 1943, the daughter of Annie and Benjamin England. She was a member of the Eastern Star for both Cheyenne, Wyoming and Fort Worth, Texas. She loved family history and kept detailed records of all family events.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles L. Caldwell, Sr., son Charles L. Caldwell, Jr., two brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her son Steve Caldwell (Krystal), daughter Nancy Houston (John), grandchildren Meagan Bruce (Branden), Taylor Wilson (Brian), Sean Houston, Ashley Houston, C. J. Houston (Jamiah), Nichole Caldwell, Austin Caldwell, James Stokes, Nichole Thompson, Eric Thompson, Courtney Holt, Mikey Thompson, and Megan Springer and 5 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Glenwood Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Bro. Joe Harris.

Pallbearers will be Steve Caldwell, John Houston, James Stokes, Branden Bruce, Brian Wilson and Sean Houston. Honorary pallbearer will be C. J. Houston.
