Cecilia A. Robertson

Cecilia A. Robertson passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 76.

Cecilia was born on April 13, 1947, the daughter of the late Cecil White and Mary Jewel Tarver White.  She retired from the Corps of Engineers after 32 years of service.  Her family and grandchildren were first and foremost in her life.  She loved the beach, hunting, gardening and keeping her yard beautiful and she was an avid reader.  She was a member of the Vicksburg Ladies Bowling Association and she volunteered for the Christmas Angel Tree.

She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Marian Brasfield.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years Joseph "Joe" Robertson, daughters Susan Williams (Johnie), Leigh Ann Gardner (Howard) and Jennifer Leigh Newton, brothers Robert White (Patricia) and Jimmy White (Sandra), sister Gloria Mongan (Phillip), grandchildren Kristian Crosby (Danielle Crosby), Taylor Rae Briggs (Silas), Nikolas Coon, Lydia Newton, Marleigh Williams and Elysia Hill (Cameron) and great-grandchildren Hayden Daves, Audreigh Mattson and Cohen Hill.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Glenwood Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.  

Pallbearers will be Matthew Kyle Mattson, Cameron Hill, Johnie Williams, Howard Gardner, Randy Wright and Zack Primos. Honorary pallbearers will be Hayden Daves and Robert White.
