Charlene Keever Price

Charlene Keever Price, 87, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 12, 1939, in Carroll County, MS to her parents Charles and Christine Keever. Shortly after, her family moved to Delta City, MS in Sharkey County where she was raised. She attended Catchings School in Delta City, MS. She met and married her husband, Robert Poe Price, of 52 years where they lived and raised a family.  

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Christine Keever, her husband Robert Poe Price and an infant son Robert Perry Price. She is survived by her children Bob Price, Judy Boykin (Gene), Suzanne Davis (Eddie), and Tom Price (Teresa). She has 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Jenette Fedric and Faye Barlow and a brother Charles Keever, Jr.  

Charlene loved her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved attending church and spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid cook and had a green thumb and enjoyed taking care of her flowers in her yard. She was a kind soul who was loved by everyone who knew her. To know her was to love her. She was one of the truest angels on this Earth. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.  

Services will be held at Delta City Baptist Church on Monday April 13, 2026. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 and funeral service to follow at 11 am. Burial will be at Vickland Cemetery.  

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons: Lonnie Boykin, Chase Stevens, Ryan Fowler, Hayden Nelson, John Barrett Boykin, Thomas Price, Ben Boykin, Josh Nelson, and Owen Stigall.
