Charles Edward Cardin

Funeral services for Mr. Charles “Ted” Cardin, age 65, will be Friday, January 18, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah, with Bro. Dwayne Whittington and Bro. Larry Whittington officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, January 17, 2019, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.

Mr. Cardin was born January 17, 1953 in St. Joseph, Louisiana to Woodrow and Thelma Ashley Cardin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Betty Jo Cardin Brown and Carol Higgins, and his brother, Huey “Cookie” Cardin.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Whittington Cardin, son, Dale Cardin (Jessica), daughters, Danielle Deweese (Larry) and Crystal Clark, grandchildren, Breanna, Makenzie, Madilynn, and Eliyanah Cardin, and Derrick and Brandon Deweese (Jennifer), and Austin and Emily Clark, great grandchildren, Devin, Isebell, Curtis, and Dixie Deweese, sisters, Rosie Wemprem and Ann Appel, and brothers, Buddy Cardin (Janet), Johnny Cardin, and Wayne Cardin.
