Charlotte Miller Hill

Charlotte Miller Hill passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. She was 81 years old.

Charlotte was born on October 14, 1944, in Delta City, MS. Charlotte was a loving Mama, Nana, and Sister she loved her family and friends very much. Charlotte worked for many years in childcare, also at Deposit Guaranty Bank, and also as a care giver. Charlotte enjoyed playing cards and aggravation also reading and going to yard sales and junk stores with friends and collecting figurines of chickens. She loved Mississippi, The Delta, and Elvis. She was a Member of Vicksburg Church of Christ and loved her church family.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Wilbur "Sonny" Hill, her parents William Herston Miller and Johnnie Mae Miller, brother Ralph Miller, son-in-law Joe Stephens, Jr. "Jody", and a nephew Beau Miller.

She is survived by her daughters Tonia Odom (Brian) and Gayla Stephens, son Scott Hill (Christy), brother Willard Miller (Trish), sister Joyce Maranto (Norman), grandchildren Justin Hopton, Brady Hopton, Hunter Hill, Reece Odom, Tripp Stephens, Halee Loftin, Trevor Stephens, Hayden Hill, and Addie Stephens, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Glenwood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 1:00 P.M.in Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in County Line Cemetery in Glen Allan, MS.

Pallbearers will be Justin Hopton, Brady Hopton, Hunter Hill, Tripp Stephens, Trevor Stephens, Hunter "Moe" Loftin, Dylan Wooten, and Jody Wooten.
