Cleo Marie Barlow Peeples

Cleo Marie Barlow Peeples age 71 of Richey, Mississippi passed to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 29. Marie was born on May 20, 1954, to Robert Lamar, Barlow Senior and Mildred Chaney Barlow along with her twin brother Clyde Miller Barlow. 
   Marie graduated from Sharkey Issaquena Academy in 1974 and entered the work force. She worked as an assembly worker at Delta Elastic factory. She was a records clerk at the Sharkey County Courthouse.  She was a cashier at Sunflower Grocery Store and for many years worked as a sitter and helper for the elderly. Marie’s favorite job was helping others and being an aunt to her many nieces & nephews.  
   Marie was proceeded in death by her parents, Robert “Bob” and Mildred Barlow and her older siblings Raymond O. Smith, R. L. Barlow, William “Bill” Barlow, Mildred Barlow Pierce, and Ruth Barlow Williams.
    Marie is survived by her twin brother Clyde Barlow of Richey, MS, by nieces Pamela Smith Blanton and Sarah, L.  Barlow by nephews Ray Smith, Robbie Williams, Jeffrey Pierce, Rodney Pierce, Robert Lamar Barlow III, 12 great nieces & nephews, 4 great great nieces & nephews, and numerous cousins. Graveside services will be Friday, June 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Straight Bayou Baptist Church Cemetery.
