Constance Kegerreis Obituary

Connie Kegerreis passed away and went to be with Jesus on September 30, 2021 at the age of 78. She was born to Elmer and Loretta Bachman on August 14, 1943 in Elkhart, Indiana. She loved the game of golf and some of her happiest times were on the golf course. One of her favorite golf tournaments was the grandmother’s tournament. She also loved helping the high school girls golf tournaments. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her favorite names were Gram and Gigi. You could find her at baseball and softball tournaments, beauty pageants, gymnastics meets, grandparents day at school and just watching her great grandchildren play.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Loretta Bachman; brother, John Bachman; brother-in-law, Cliff Raeder and 2 great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, and her boyfriend since 5th grade, James Kegerreis of Vicksburg, MS; sisters, Diana Raeder of South Carolina and Patty Bachman of Elkhart, Indiana; daughter, Kelly Townsend (Dan) of Clinton, MS; son, Robert Kegerreis (Kim) of Hot Springs, AR; four grandchildren, Mandi Pecanty Driver (Adam) of Bastrop, LA, Hannah Kegerreis Buckley (Brian) Mount Pleasant, TX, Kristopher Pecanty (Ashley) of Vicksburg, MS and Christa Kegerreis Roth (Dan) Mckinney, TX; seven great grandchildren, Baylyn Miele Pecanty, Wyatt Tillman Driver, Dayton Cross Buckley, Madden Knox Buckley, Jagger Spade Buckley, Levi Sterling Driver and Haisley Faith Driver; and close friends, Carol Roberson, Mary May and the members of Eagle Ridge Ladies Golf Association.

Services will be at Bovina United Methodist Church in Vicksburg on October 5, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin 1 hour before the service at the Church. Final resting place will be on hole #15 at Clear Creek Golf Course in Bovina.

Memorials may be made to Bovina United Methodist Church, Paws Rescue, The Humane Society or any golf association promoting the sport for young players.

We would like to thank everyone involved in her care. St. Dominic Staff, The Staff of promise Hospital and Kindred at Home, home health. Especially her nurse Lindsey, who she loved like family.
