Dan Marcellus Mobley

Dan Marcellus Mobley passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021. He was 86 years old.

Dan was a member of Midway Church of Christ and worked for Glenwood Funeral Home for approximately 35 years and had worked for Stennis Space Center on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and in New Mexico. He was good at anything he tried. He is preceded in death by his parents Alvin Earl and Lena Pearl Mobley; his brothers Alvin Eugene Mobley, Kenneth Ray Mobley, and Don Mobley; a sister June Mobley.

Dan is survived by his wife Elizabeth Mobley and two daughters Beverly June Burton and Cheryl Hawkins; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. A service will be at 12:00 P.M. in the chapel. Burial will follow in Utica Cemetery. Rev. Donnie Cain will be officiating.
