David Carl Welch

David Carl Welch died on Monday, April 8, 2019, at his home. He was 74.

He was born in Vicksburg on March 31, 1945, the son of Joe C. Welch and Agnes Childres Welch.  He attended Culkin High School; was a member of the Pipefitters Local 619 and was and avid musician.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Annette Blades and Betty Waltman.

He is survived by his sons Glenn Welch and David Wayne Welch; daughter, Carla Louise Welch; brothers,Billy Welch (Rachel) and Jerry Welch; sister Joann Welch; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Billy Talbert officiating.  

Pallbearers will be Wendell Sullivan, Ronnie Sullivan, David Sullivan, Vince Welch, Michael Dunn and Daniel Dunn.
