Deborah Leach

Deborah Lynn (Smith) Leach, 71 years old, has passed away at her home in Delta, Louisiana, on July 2, 2025. She was born on July 26, 1953, in Dayton, Ohio, to Courtney and Helen (Frasure) Smith.

Deborah is proceeded in death by her father, Courtney E. Smith, her mother, Helen L. Frasure, her stepdad, Johnnie Hooks, her sister, Carol Sanderford, and her daughter, Tonya Smith. She is survived by six sisters, Gail Turley Hamilton of Ohio, Barbara Cox Hamilton of Ohio, Glenda Shelly Trenton of Ohio, Judy Smith of Atlanta, Georgia, Shawn Smith, and Connie Cousins, of Berea, Kentucky, two daughters, Natasha Hartley and Nancy Petway, eight grandkids, Dylan, Liberty, Chris, Mason, Peyton, Jaiden, Serenity, and Waylan, and the granddaughter on the way.

There will be no services or funeral for my mother for the respect of her not wanting one. She had requested no funeral and no services. Please keep our families in your thoughts and prayers as we continue to grieve and get through this.
