Delora Esther (Wilson) Walker

Delora Esther Wilson Walker passed away on July 3, 2024. She was born November 23, 1924 in Independence, KS. 

She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She also worked as a school secretary at Forest Hill, Hardy Junior High, and Copiah Academy for 24 years. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe P. Walker, Sr.; her parents, Charlie Wilson and Veda Botts; brother, Claude Wilson; and sister, Lois Barret. 

Delora is survived by her sons, Joe Walker, Jr. and David B. Walker; grandsons, Joe Walker, III, Brian Walker, and Luke Walker; great-grandchildren, Kai Walker, Maia Kade Walker, and Isabella Walker.

She was a member of Raymond Road Baptist Church.
