Donald "Donnie" Sims

Visitation for Donald Sims will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg on Thursday, February 6th, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a service to follow. 
“Donnie” Sims was born in Greenville, MS, on November 13, 1953, to the parents of Doris and Clarence Sims. He resided in Vicksburg, MS, with his family. He was well known in his community for his business, Mercury Marine, and his love for fishing, boating, and the outdoors. 
Donnie passed away Thursday, January 30th, at home surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Gloria Sims. He is survived by his son Alex Sims (Kristina) sister Linda Sims. Nephews and nieces include Jeff (Lisa), James (Brandy), and Bridgett (Paul).
