Donna Coomes Steinriede

Donna Coomes Steinriede passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the age of 72. She was born on August 26, 1953, to Billy Earl Coomes, Sr. and Delores Nohra Coomes.

Donna enjoyed helping others, and she cherished her sons and grandchildren. She was loving, generous, optimistic, and compassionate, and she loved Jesus deeply. Donna had a gift for bringing smiles to everyone she met and was truly loved by all. She was, without question, an angel on Earth.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William B. Steinriede, III; her brothers, Mike Coomes and Bobby Coomes; and her sister, Renee Coomes.

She is survived by her sons, Bill Steinriede, IV and Brian Steinriede (Olivia); her brothers, Ken Coomes (Janet), Billy Coomes (Monica), and John Birchett Coomes (Kim); her sisters, Evelyn Weaver (Mike), Lori Williams (John), Caroline Sanders, and Michelle Cox (Michael); sister-in-law, Jane Coomes; her grandchildren, Cooper Steinriede and Colton Steinriede; and her step-grandchildren, Aisly Trawick, Aidan Trawick, and Alena Trawick.

Pallbearers will be Ken Coomes, Billy Coomes, John Birchett Coomes, Mike Weaver, Michael Cox, and John Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Cedar Hill Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 12:00–3:00 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg, Mississippi, prior to the service.
