Dorothy Louise Coffing

Dorothy Louise Coffing passed away April 7, 2021 at the age of 94. 

Dorothy was born in Canton, Mississippi to her parents, Herbert Aden Downey, Jr. and Estella Sanderson Downey. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Downey Jr. and Estella Downey; her husband, Rodgers Coffing, Sr.; and brothers, Herbert Aden Downey, Jr. and Vernon Vannoy Downey. 

She is survived by her son, Lennell Clanton, Jr.; two grandchildren, Ellen Blair Clanton Gargaro and Blake Emory Clanton, four great-grandchildren; Lana, Lauren and Chase Clanton, and Reed McWhirter, and a brother, Billy Glenn Downey. 

A visitation will beheld at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021. A service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Roger Cresswell. The interment will take place following the service at Greenlawn Gardens.
