DyRuth Carver

DyRuth Carver passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025. She was 86 years old. She was born in Yazoo City, MS on February 26, 1939, to William C Davis and Eula Inez Green Davis. She loved sewing, gardening, going to flea markets and flowers especially roses. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, William C. Davis and Eula Inez Green Davis; brothers, Earl Davis, William Davis, Wesley Davis; sisters, Fannie Parker, Marie Hope, Erma Davis and Nora Davis; grandson, Brandon Shawn McMahon.

She is survived by her son, Billy Joe Davis; daughter, Rose Marie Crenshaw; brother, Harrison Davis; grandchildren, Christopher Shand McMahon, Gordon Dale Hoda, Angel Dawn Hoda, Mary Hoda, Thomas Davis and Kala Gallagher; and numerous great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Talbert officiating the service.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
