Edward Earl Cooper, 74, of Anguilla, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at his residence.
Edward was born in Cleveland, MS. on November 21, 1948, to the late Melvin and Lucille Lawerence Cooper.
Edward loved his family and grandchildren dearly. An avid hunter and fisherman, he retired from Delta Grocery as the store manager. He enjoyed attending gun shows as well as collecting guns. Edward also raised hunting dogs. He is remembered for being generous to everyone and as a history buff who enjoyed coin collecting.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dianna Davis Cooper; and brother, Charles Melvin Cooper.
Survivors include sons, William Leon Cooper (Jayme) and Earl Cooper; daughter, Mary Cooper Ali (Mohammad); brothers, Henry Cooper and John Wayne Cooper; sisters, Sara Alexander and Martha Poss; grandchildren, Grace Spencer, Nora Ali, Camilla Ali, Will Cooper, Austin Cooper, Connor Cooper, Dianna Cooper, and Rob Ashley; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Cooper, Raleigh Cooper, Brennan Cooper, Sawyer Cooper, and Everleigh Cooper.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Golden Link Cemetery. Pastor Gary Henderson will preside over the service.
