Etienne "Joe" Trahan passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020. He was 69 years old.
Joe was born around Morgan City, La but has spent the majority of his life in Vicksburg, Ms. He was a wonderful man and an even better father to his children. May 20, 2020 would have made 31 years of marriage to his wife, Rita Trahan.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Etienne Trahan, Sr and Marie Trahan, his daughter Melody Stanley and his granddaughter Ashley Stanley.
Joe is survived by his wife, Rita Trahan, his daughter, Destiny Trahan, his three sons; Danny Ray Mitchell, Benny Stanley, and James Tyler Dilley, his two brothers; Gary Trahan, and Tony "Alex" Trahan, his two sisters; Kathy Guidry, and Melinda Lamb, his six grandchildren; Shannon Mitchell, Matthew Stanley, Amber Stanley, Cheyenne Stanley, Destiny Trahan and James Tyler Dilley and his niece and nephew; Jonette and Joshua Guidry.
A visitation will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 10, 2020. Burial will follow immediately after the funeral service at Faith Memorial Park Cemetery in Delhi, La.
Pallbearers will be Haden Hataway, Danny Ray Mitchell, Benny Stanley, James Tyler Dilley and a few others that are incomplete at this time.
Rev. TJ Tennison and Pastor Terry White will be officiating the service.
