Evan Josiah Hixson

Evan Josiah Hixson passed away Friday, June 12, 2020. He was 29. 

Evan was born in Frederick, Maryland and lived in Vicksburg, Mississippi most of his life but resided in West Virginia for 4 years. He attended Refuge Church in Vicksburg, Mississippi. 

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Claude Bailey, and his paternal grandparents, R. Vaughn and Esther L. Hixson. 

He is survived by his 8 year old daughter, MariJane Hixson, his parents Jerry and Vickie (Bailey) Hixson; his brother Bryton Hixson; his sister, Moriah Hixson, and his maternal grandmother, Letha Bailey.

Services will be  Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Refuge Church at 11:00 A.M.. Visitation will be Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the church. Rev. Tony Winkler will be officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Beautiful Deliverance Ministries or to Refuge Church.
