Everett Greer, Jr.

Everett Greer, Jr. passed away on March 7, 2025. He was 69 years old. He was born Vicksburg, MS to Percy Greer and Cathleen Greer. He enjoyed hunting, team roping, watching rodeos and bull riding. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. The love of his life was his wife, Liz. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Percy Greer and Cathleen Greer.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Liz Greer; sons, Jason Greer (Charlie) and Kelcy Greer (Kailyn); daughter, Laura Greer (James); brother, Mike Greer (Debbie); grandchildren, Lane Greer (Abby), Ryker Greer and Ruby Kate Greer; one great-granddaughter, Braelynn Danielle Greer. 

Pallbearers will be Jason Greer, Kelcy Greer, Lane Greer, James Evans, Jamie Cain, Allen Lane and Ethan Thornton.

A visitation will be held on Monday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Port Gibson, MS on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 5-7pm. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of the service. Interment will follow at Greer Cemetery.
