Fairy Lowry Grey

Fairy Lowry Grey passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025. She was 93 years old. She was born in Keiser, Arkansas on August 12, 1931, to Charles Mariam Lowry and Flossie Thelma McKnight Lowry. She was a member of the Warrenton Baptist Church and a Cosmetologist for 30+ years. She never meet a stranger everybody that met her loved her. She enjoyed feeding people nobody never left her house hungry. She loved her family. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, R.V. Grey; parents, Charles Marian Lowry and Flossie Thelma McKnight Lowry; brother, Fielder Lowry.

She is survived by her sons, Wayne Dolan Grey (Tricia) and Rexton Van Grey (Margaret); daughters, Vickie Grey Peltz (Greg) and Dixie Grey Redditt (Aroy-deceased); sisters, Faye Marshall, Fern Zavala (Al) and Florence Giles (Richard); grandchildren, Jeffrey Peltz, Stephanie Paxton (Keith), Randy Holder (Dallas), Rachel Redditt, Garrett Grey (Melody), Justin Grey, Rexton Grey, II (Diana) and Ryan Cole Grey (Heather); great-grandchildren, Landon Peltz, Natalie Peltz, Conner Paxton, Shelby Hartley, Zoey Smith, Dolan Grey, Sophia Grey, Preston Grey and Rowan Grey; sister-in-laws, Joan Grey and Joyce Grey; brother-in-law, Billy Ray Grey; numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Pallbearers will be Randy Holder, Conner Paxton, Garrett Grey, Justin Grey, Jeff Peltz and Jeffrey Landon Peltz. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Southerland and Brandon Southerland.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Curtis officiating the service. Visitation will be one hour before the service.  Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
