Frank was a lifelong resident of Tallulah, an active member of First United Methodist Church, and spent his career with the Madison Parish Sheriff’s Department. He was a witty, easygoing man who had a way with words, often writing parodies, jokes, and stand up comedy skits. He had a passion for aviation, in particular Warbirds and other planes of the past. He loved traveling and visited over 19 National Parks including his favorite, Yellowstone. He enjoyed watching Saints and LSU football as well as NASCAR. He loved making friends on social media. Most of all, Frank was a family man. He cherished his “redheaded wife” and his “darling daughter”. He felt extremely blessed to have a pilot as a son-in-law and he adored his two grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Mattie Shelton.
